We applied a high alkaline product to break down all the dirty soils and grease that had built up over the years, after applying this we waited for a good fifteen minutes in order for the product to do its work of magic efficiently. After a short  while had passed it was time to start thoroughly scrubbing all the grime off it using our best on the market rotary machine with an attached abrasive brush, this brush is a very harsh scrubbing brush so this will tackle any dirty grime that’s in its way. After this had been efficiently scrubbed we then began rinsing all the dirty soiled excess using our wet pick up system which is a high water pressure electric pump system making sure it will be all rinsed out properly. When the rinsing was complete we then dried out the floor ready for it to be re sealed in a few days.

We returned about a week later (due to being extremely busy) we then tested the floor to see if it was dry enough to seal and luckily it was. We then applied the impregnated sealant on to the floor which sinks into the pores of the stone and the impregnated sealant will not allow anything dirt or spillages to ingrain into the Slate stone floor! Normally we apply two to three coats depending on the porosity of the Slate floor, but in this case we applied two coats and as you can see from the photo we have taken above we made a huge difference to the floor it looks like almost new again!
