A topical sealer adds a coating and a low sheen finish on your terracotta tile floor as seen Above on After picture. This is done to protect against spills or other contaminants causing permanent stains and also make on-going maintenance easier on your terracotta tile and grout flooring . Impregnation: Application of a top quality impregnator also can reduce the porosity of the floor terracotta tile and grout . The Impregnator penetrates below the surface of the stone and grout and act as a repellent for any liquid based spills. Applying Impregnator to terracotta stone/grout will allow for a natural (matt) finish to the stone/tile and grout .
