Travertine Tile Floor Cleaners And Sealers In Whetstone Leicestershire!

Earlier this week we went to view a lovely property in Whetstone Leicestershire, the issue with this type of travertine floor was it had years of wear and built up soils due to kids growing up and pets running through the kitchen! She had been using bleach to try and clean the dirty travertine hard floor but unfortunately because she didn’t know how to clean the floor residue and grime had just kept on building up and wasn’t going to stop getting dirty so, she knew it was time to call in professional experts like us to gt the job sorted for her and her family as they had given up! Lucky for them they had called in the right professionals to get her floor sorted within a couple of days.

Travertine Professional Cleaning In Whetstone Leicestershire:

We arrived in Whetstone on the Thursday morning and begin our day as normal by off loading all our equipment of the van and began by applying a high alkaline cleaner and left this to do its work of magic for about 10 minutes whilst we set everything up. We started scrubbing the floor with our efficient rotary machine with an attached scrubbing brush and cleaned the travertine hard floor thoroughly whilst dealing with the edges and the bits that the machine couldn’t get too! Normally we could use diamond pads to polish up the floor too but in this case the client only wanted a clean to refresh her stone floor, After the cleaning was complete we then rinsed the floor with our high pressured extraction machine and dried it out ready for it to be sealed.

Travertine Tile Floor Sealing In Whetstone Leicestershire:

We returned a few days later in order to allow the travertine to dry out efficiently so it can be sealed, the first thing we did was test the floor with a special moisture meter to make sure it was definitely ready to be sealed which thankfully it was. The sealant we was going to be using on this floor was a clear water based impregnated sealer that sinks into the pores of the stone and provides maximum protection inside and outside the stone tiled floor. We applied the sealant using a pump sprayer and applied it evenly throughout the travertine floor and then allowed it to soak in for ten minutes before buffing in the excess using our state of the art rotary machine!
