We had a phone call off a eager client a few weeks ago wanting for us to come in give her a free quote to do with her once shiny looking Limestone Floor which we kindly accepted, in the town of Uppingham in the county of Rutland a town known for it’s market town appearance.
Before starting the work in place we always do a assessment of the area we will be working on for safety & work reasons, we removed the kick boards from the kitchen units and applied a solution of our superb product which was left to wait on the tile for twenty five minutes, before being worked in with a rotary machine fitted with a scrubbing black pad which is effective for this line of work.
We calmly used the cleaning stone floor product along the grout lines but scrubbed them using a stiff grout brush by hand to get them clean, when we were very satisfied with the results the soiled cleaning solution was removed with a wet vacuum and the floor rinsed with clean water to remove any trace of cleaning product before sealing.
We returned to the work in hand to check first if floor was dry so sealing could be done & work completed, we left to dry when we came back the next day to seal the tiles checking first that the floor had dried out 100% (else sealing would not be possible due to having to allow floor to dry before sealing can begin),
The clients mind was made up, wanted a matt appearance so to seal the tiles a couple of coats of our effective product was applied, Maximum Pro is an impregnating sealer that soaks into the pores of the stone occupying them so other contaminates can’t become ingrained in the stone.
it also lifts the natural colours in the Limestone tiles as well, once the sealer had dried I then finished it all off with a quick buff using a white buffing pad great for this line of work.
